Candle Anis Etoilé Lavande - Anis Etoilé Lavande (Lavender Star Anis) The green fragrance of very fresh star anis, magnified by sparkling, citrusy lavender. (not available for California USA)
The burn is clean and even, and the room fills with that sharp, green star anise note before the lavender softens it into something cozy. I lit it during a rainy afternoon and the whole apartment smelled like a fancy herbal tea for hours.
The scent is so unusual—the lavender keeps the star anise from being too sharp, and it brightens the whole room without ever feeling heavy. Burned it for about two hours and the throw was perfectly balanced, not faint but not overwhelming.
The green star anise hits first, sharp and almost peppery, then the lavender softens it into something sparkly. I lit it in my kitchen and the whole room smelled like a fancy apothecary for hours. Burned evenly, too, which I didn't expect from a candle this pretty.
